Boarding at
SisterCreek Ranch
Boarding Services
SisterCreek Ranch is a private, gated ranch that offers boarding services unique to most facilities. The ranch is 700 acres of some of the most beautiful hill country views and scenery with miles of paths to ride. You can ride on or off the trails, cool off in the creeks and ponds, maneuver through a jumps course of natural jumps, climb the hills or just enjoy a leisurely stroll with your horse. We have a lighted, covered round pen, a 250’ by 150’ arena, and wash rack. Private access to the ranch helps ensure security for you and your horse. Sniffy’s Saloon is the place to come and enjoy some real Texas hospitality after a good day of trail riding or training.
If you are interested in boarding your horse at SisterCreek Ranch, please reach out to schedule a tour of our facilities and see what our boarding availability is! We love meeting and showing our potential boarders around!

Full Boarding
Full Boarding is provided in large paddock areas with run in shelters for protection. Each paddock holds anywhere from 3-6 horses. Horses are fed grain and quality coastal hay twice per day. The paddocks are mucked out multiple times a week to assist in limiting the flies. Full Board allows for specialty feeding. Our ranch feeds 12% horse pellets from Behrends Feed located in Luckenbach, TX. If your horse is on a different feed, the ranch can accommodate your needs for an extra $10 per month. As the owner, you will be required to provide the feed, feed scoop, and feed storage container as well as specific feeding instructions. The ranch can also feed your horse alfalfa upon request. The owner is responsible for purchase and delivery of the alfalfa.
The base rate is $500 per horse with a discount for multiple horses. We accept cash or check only.
Please note that rates are subject to change at the digression
of the Ranch.
All boarders will be made aware of this change in advance.

Pasture Boarding
Pasture Boarding is provided in 3 large areas of 3 to 13 acres each. Each pasture has run in shelters that are large enough to accommodate the pasture herd. A round bale of quality coastal hay is provided but no feeding of grain or alfalfa. Please reach out to schedule a tour of our facilities and see what our pasture board availability is.
The rate is $400 per horse with a discount available for multiple horses. We accept cash or check only.
Please note that rates are subject to change at the digression
of the Ranch.
All boarders will be made aware of this change in advance.
Consigner Services
SisterCreek offers a consigner service for vet, dentist and farrier needs.
Our farrier, Jim Bob Hatley, comes out to the ranch every other week and offers exceptional rates and services. Our Ranch horses are on an 8-week shoeing schedule, but you can request your horse be on 6-week schedule if necessary. The ranch pays for the farrier at time of service, and then the farrier bill is added to the following month's board.
We have a variety of wonderful relationships with Equine and Small Animal Vets around the area.
Our long-term Equine Dentist is Jay Absher with Absher Equine. He has been assisting the ranch with horse dental needs for over 20 years. He comes out to the ranch once per year to get the horses taken care of. If you are interested in being added to this list, please contact the Ranch Administrator for more information.
