Day Rides
SisterCreek Ranch is a private, gated ranch that offers a unique trail riding experience. The Ranch has 700 acres of beautiful Hill Country terrain for guests and their horse to explore. Enjoy a variety of marked equine trails as well as old Jeep trails, waterfalls and more. There is also an outdoor arena, covered roundpen and an outdoor wash rack for your use. Day Rides are $20. You MUST sign our liability waiver.
Please note that this private ranch is open by appointment only. You MUST call and let SCR know you are interested in coming to ride. The updated gate code will be given to you at that time.
700 Acres
and Marked Trails
Our marked trails are called PG-13, Los Cuernos, J's Way and Jar Head but you are welcome to ride anywhere on the 700 acre ranch. We also have miles and miles of old jeep roads if you’d rather not get off the beaten path. Take the climb up to Pop-A-Top- the tallest point of the ranch and the best place to get a panoramic view of the Texas Hill Country!
Arena
Our 250 x 150 square foot arena makes warming up for your trail ride easy and enjoyable. It has a sand and crumbled rubber surface, which is very comfortable for the horse and rider.
Roundpen
If you are working on ground work, the 50-foot diameter round pen is covered and lighted with the same sand and crumbled rubber surface as the arena.

Obstacles
Obstacles are located around the property for training your horse. Some are natural obstacles that you will find on the trail, and others are man-made obstacle courses.
Rates & Rules
We accept checks and cash only.
Day Rides - $20
If you have an extra horse that you would like to bring to pony along, then that horse is $10.
If you have an extra guest joining you that is not riding, then they must pay the facility fee of $10.
You MUST call in advance for the gate code and to let us know you are interested in coming. There are rare occasions when the ranch is closed due to private events, so please always call in advance.
We are a haul in only facility. Sorry, we don't rent our ranch horses. You must have your own horse.
We require proof of negative Coggins for each horse that comes onto the ranch. Please bring a copy of the horse's up-to-date Coggins test. We accept electronic or paper versions of negative Coggins test.
On your first visit to the ranch, you will be required to sign our SisterCreek Ranch Liability Waiver. You can print this off at home and sign it before you come or we have copies for you to sign here as well.
